The point of contact at Safe Sport e.V. is there for you if you have experienced or observed boundary violations or violence in a sports context.

We offer psychological and/or legal support if you have experienced or observed physical, psychological and/or sexual violence.

Call 0800 11 222 00/ Mon, Wed, Fri 10am-12pm, Thu 3pm-5pm.
– You do not need an appointment during this time. A psychologist or lawyer will pick up and will be able to offer advice to you directly.
If all counsellors are busy, you can also use the online counselling or make an appointment.

You can use the online counselling to send us your message around the clock or to book a chat or video counselling. Simply register with a nickname and password on our secure platform and write us your request.

You can also make an appointment on weekdays at 030-220138710 or at [email protected].

We’ll listen to you first and clarify your concerns together. You remain anonymous, unless you would like to give your name. If you have any questions, or want to get something off your chest – make an appointment. All correspondence is strictly confidential.

Our counselling is centered on the affected person. This means that you alone decide what happens and which steps you want to take. The counsellors will support you empathetically and will be resource and solution-oriented.

During office hours, calls are answered by a psychologist or lawyer. In online counselling and by making an appointment, you can decide whether you would like to be counselled by a psychologist or a lawyer. Since we work closely together, both are possible.

Yes, we guarantee anonymity. You decide whether you want to tell us your name or not. We ensure absolute confidentiality. We are bound to secrecy and strictly adhere to data protection regulations. Nobody will find out about your contact with Safe Sport.

No, there will be no cost to you.
We are a non-profit organization that is currently financed primarily by federal and state funds. If you would like to support our work, donations are welcome at any time.

Independent point of contact means that we are exclusively committed to you as the person seeking advice. We act independently from third parties, i.e. in particular from people, clubs and associations in sport.

The association Safe Sport is the sponsor of the independent point of contact for victims of sexualized, psychological and physical violence and was founded at the Conference of Sports Ministers on 03.11.2022.

The founding members are the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Home Affairs, the 16 federal states, Athletes Germany e.V., a representative from the Council of Victims of the Office of the Independent Commissioner for Child Sexual Abuse (UBSKM), and a representative from academia. The honorary board currently consists of Prof. Dr. Ilse Hartmann-Tews, Steffi Jones and Gitta Schwarz. The full-time employees staff the office in Berlin, which was opened in July 2023.

Anlauf gegen Gewalt is an initiative of Athleten Deutschland e.V. (Athletes Germany), whose support services are aimed exclusively at squad athletes in top-class sports. We support those seeking advice from both amateur and elite sports.

Initial counselling at “Anlauf gegen Gewalt” takes place via phone through N.I.N.A. e.V. or as referral counselling to external psychologists and lawyers.

With us, on the other hand, you will be advised directly by a psychologist or a lawyer.
