Women in Berlin and Brandenburg football, including player Katharina vom Dahl and club official Ulrike Häfner, also report sexism in sports structures and in everyday life. The former national player, coach and board member of Safe Sport e.V. Steffi Jones reports on her experiences and explains why a contact point that is independent of the sports structures is needed. Players must be encouraged to speak up about grievances. Safe Sport managing director Ina Lambert also emphasizes that boundaries need to be defined more clearly, especially on the part of clubs and associations, and cultures of observation need to be created.
